After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Melissa began her career as a Consultant Services Representative for a recruiting firm specializing in full time and contract placements for IT and Engineering professionals. Melissa was quickly promoted to Junior Recruiter, supporting their top business development executive in working with some of the largest Bay Area companies. Following a series of company acquisitions and promotions, Melissa went to work for Harvey Nash, a Global Recruitment Consultancy and IT Outsourcing service provider. During her eight-year tenure with Harvey Nash, she held roles as Senior Technical Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, and Business Development Manager.
After 16 years of working within an agency setting, Melissa decided to try something new and joined Zynga as a Senior Technical Recruiter for their Central Tech Team. In less than a year, Melissa was promoted to Manager of Talent Acquisition, supporting the engineering function for all teams across the company. These teams included “Words With Friends”, Poker, new IP (unannounced projects), Analytics, Ad Tech, Game Services, Client Tech, Payments, and Studio Ops. After more than 3 years at Zynga, Melissa went to work for Electronic Arts and, most recently, Activision Blizzard. During her time at these organizations she continued to focus on sourcing for top game developers and production talent.
Melissa is passionate about building relationships and represents the very best in recruiting.
